DMDA Toledo is proud to have been a part of the Mental Health Voter Empowerment Coalition this year. The coalition hosted candidates forums for the local elections. Turn out and media coverage was GREAT! Other participating organizations were: The Alliance for the Mentally Ill of Greater Toledo, The Consumers Union of Lucas County, and the Mental Health Association of Lucas County.

DMDA would like to extend a special thank you to Marci Dvorak, Executive Director AMI Toledo; Lisa Canales Flores, AMI Toledo; Kelly Skinner, Executive Director Consumers Union of Lucas County; Judy Remele, MHA Lucas County. Without their support this coalition would not have been possible
